Walk, Heal, and Grow – Walks Resuming in May 2025
Our free nature therapy walks provide a safe space for participants to reflect, connect, and gain valuable strategies for personal well-being. Volunteer walk leads include licensed therapists, counselors, and community leaders who offer encouragement and insight.
Each walk is structured for confidentiality, meaningful discussions, and personal well-being.
1. Small Group Experience
Each walk is intentionally limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure a meaningful and supportive environment. This allows for personal reflection, group discussion, and a closer connection with the walk lead and fellow participants.
2. Confidentiality & Safe Space
All participants are required to agree to a confidentiality commitment to foster a safe and respectful environment. What is shared during the walks remains private, ensuring a space where individuals can freely express their thoughts without concern.
3. Location Security
For privacy and safety, walk locations are not disclosed until participants have completed registration and have been approved. This process ensures a safe and controlled environment for all attendees.
4. Monthly Focus Topics
Each month, our walks focus on different themes related to healing, mental wellness, and personal growth. Walk leaders, including licensed professionals and community leaders, provide guidance and support tailored to these topics.
We are currently only hosting walks in the Chicagoland area, the western suburbs, and Northwest Indiana. These walks provide a great opportunity for connection, reflection, and community support. Stay tuned for updates on future additional locations and times.
